Palmerstown House Resumes

Normality resumes… The Cracker makes the final!

There was great excitement in the Irish backgammon community when on the evening of Wednesday 17 February, in person backgammon resumed at the Palmerstown House pub in West Dublin.

Organised by Eileen Mulvany and friends, this popular venue attracted a small but eager crowd thrilled to get back to in person playing after the forced hiatus.

Eileen says that the plan is to meet every third Wednesday at 8 PM, with the next Palmerstown backgammon evening being Wednesday 9 March 2022. It was always a popular venue before covid and looks set to again becoming a firm fixture in the Irish backgammon calendar.
